Successful lawyer – successful legal recruiter, Morgan has an unmatched perspective on the legal recruiting process. Morgan is an accomplished lawyer, having practiced at some of the top law firms in the nation. This experience combined with her years of legal recruiting enables her to uniquely connect with her legal candidates and clients.
Upon graduation from the University of Texas School of Law, Morgan moved to New York City to work in the mergers and acquisitions section at Wall Street law firm Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, where she represented a number of Fortune 100 companies in various national and international divestitures and acquisitions. Upon returning to Texas, Morgan completed tours of duty in the Houston offices of law firms Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld and King & Spalding, where she represented major energy corporations in securities transactions and strategic acquisitions.
Morgan is an honors graduate of Indiana University and the University of Texas School of Law. At Indiana University, Morgan’s studies focused on international economics and politics and Russian language and culture. At the University of Texas School of Law, Morgan served as President of the Student Bar Association, a member of the Alumni Association Executive Committee and Texas Young Lawyers Association Board of Directors. Morgan also attended University College London where she concentrated on international law.
Morgan is a native of Houston and a member of the Texas and New York State Bars, the Houston Young Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association and the Houston Bar Association. Morgan is a member of the Anti-Defamation League’s Regional Board of Directors. Morgan and her husband David, a Houstonian and graduate of Rice University, have twin boys and their two dogs, Bauer & Macy. The Warren family enjoys exploring new places and searching for top culinary delights.
